Glacier was assembled and produced following three months of recording with a minimal setup utilizing two vintage, monophonic analog synthesizers and a Moog percussion synth. The result is an album of visual music with a dark, imaginative soundtrack-like quality.

Urane combines a rich French tradition of musique concrète in the form of Véro Marengère who studied both visual arts and digital music with Pat McMaster's electronic production experience as a life-long synthesist.

Informed by thrift-store VHS finds and a shared aesthetic for eroding media, Urane's live performance fuses sound and image to produce a unified reflection of disillusion and foreboding.

Glacier vu le jour suite à 3 mois d'enregistrement studio. Utilisant deux synthétiseurs analogues comme vintage ainsi qu'un synthétiseur percussif Moog, Urane a su créer un album de musique visuelle rappelant les bandes sonores et la contemplation.

Urane est le projet de Véro Marengère et de Patrick McMaster. Véro Marengère a étudié en art visuel comme en musique numérique. Son penchant pour la tradition française de la musique concrète s'est allié aux longues années d'expériences en synthèse et en production de Patrick McMaster.

Partageant la même curiosité pour les médias qui dépérissent et les vieux VHS, la performance live d'Urane fusionne le son et l'image de manière a recréer un monde de désillusions et de pressentiments.
